Perhaps this is because the current Canon improvement almost all types of Canon DSLR can record live video from the camera, so that the light should be available to continue the external flash. If we use continuous light from the LED front Speedlight 320EX II, the LED flash can survive for about 4 hours with a condition that has been charged AA battery full.
